We are a growing healthcare distribution company in Valencia expanding into clinical trial comparator drug sourcing and specialized medical supplies. We are seeking a Designated Representative (DR) to serve as our licensed compliance lead while taking on hands-on supply chain responsibilities. This position combines a reliable hourly base rate for on-site compliance hours with financial bonus upside tied to sourcing milestones, vendor onboarding, and operational achievements. Core Regulatory Responsibilities (Base Pay)
Board Compliance:
Serve as the on-site Designated Representative (DR) required by the California Board of Pharmacy during receiving, handling, and shipping operations.
Inventory Control:
Oversee drug and medical device inventory logs, temperature tracking, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Quality Assurance:
Ensure facility operations align with California Board of Pharmacy laws and federal Drug Supply Chain Security Act (DSCSA) standards. Expanded Operational Responsibilities (Bonus Eligible) We will tailor your day-to-day duties around your specific skills, strengths, and career goals, with opportunities to lead or assist in:
Sourcing & Procurement:
Support or manage clinical trial comparator drug sourcing, vendor vetting, and pricing inquiries ( eligible for per-project sourcing bonuses ).
Logistics & Inventory:
Coordinate inbound/outbound shipments, cold-chain transport workflows, and inventory audits.
Project Management:
Help build standard operating procedures, track client fulfillment timelines, and maintain quality systems. Mandatory Qualifications (Required by California State Law)
Required Experience:
Minimum 1 year (approx. 2,000 hours) of paid work experience within the last 3 years at a licensed pharmacy, drug wholesaler, pharmaceutical manufacturer, or medical device distributor.
Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent.
Licensing:
Active California Board of Pharmacy Designated Representative license—OR eligible and willing to complete the Board-approved online training course and LiveScan fingerprinting upon hire (we cover training costs).
Location:
Must live within commuting distance of Valencia, CA to be physically present on-site during operational shifts. Why Join Us?
