#Tech-Pro-Admin-01 Job Summary We are seeking an experienced professional with a strong background in procuring low-volume materials, custom components, machined parts, and electronic assemblies for defense and aerospace programs. The role involves managing supplier relationships, purchase orders, and delivery schedules to ensure program requirements are met on time and within budget. Key Responsibilities Procure materials, components, and services for defense and aerospace programs. Issue RFQs, evaluate supplier quotes, and negotiate pricing and lead times. Manage purchase orders from placement through receipt and acceptance. Coordinate with engineering, program management, quality, and manufacturing teams. Monitor supplier performance and resolve delivery, quality, and cost issues. Support prototype, NPI, and low-rate production procurement activities. Ensure compliance with purchasing procedures, customer requirements, and government regulations. Maintain accurate procurement records and ERP system data. Identify cost savings and alternate sourcing opportunities while minimizing supply chain risk. Qualifications Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience preferred. 8 years of purchasing experience in defense, aerospace, electronics, or manufacturing environments. Experience sourcing custom machined parts, electronics, COTS items, and specialized materials. Familiarity with FAR/DFARS, supplier quality requirements, and government contracting environments. Proficiency with ERP/MRP systems and Microsoft Office.
