This role plays a vital part in supporting the purchase of telecom equipment, maintaining accurate inventory, and managing supplier relationships.
The ideal candidate has procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and a background in telecom or technical inventory management. What you'll do Coordinate the purchasing of materials and equipment for telecom operations Conduct and oversee monthly inventory audits Negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and schedules with suppliers and vendors Issue and track purchase orders; maintain accurate and up-to-date procurement records Monitor and maintain optimal inventory levels across warehouses and field locations Collaborate with field teams, warehouse staff, and project managers to ensure timely delivery of materials Identify cost-saving opportunities and assist with vendor selection and evaluation Resolve order, delivery, and invoice discrepancies What you'll need 1+ years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or supply chain (preferred, not required) Experience in telecommunications, construction, or technical industries (preferred, not required) Familiarity with telecom materials, tools, and equipment is a plus Strong negotiation and communication skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Smartsheet Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines The wage range for Procurement Coordinator is $20.00 - $24.00 .
