6-Month Contract with Opportunity for Extension We are seeking an experienced Operational Buyer to join a dynamic procurement team supporting day-to-day purchasing operations. This role is ideal for a detail-oriented professional with strong SAP experience, analytical skills, and a background in procurement or supply chain. The successful candidate will manage purchasing activities, maintain procurement data, collaborate with suppliers, and support operational excellence in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Manage daily purchasing activities and ensure timely processing of purchase orders.
Maintain, audit, and update purchasing records, supplier information, and procurement data within SAP.
Analyze procurement data and generate reports to support business decisions and operational improvements.
Utilize advanced Excel and other reporting tools to manipulate and present purchasing data.
Partner with suppliers to resolve invoice discrepancies, delivery issues, and order fulfillment concerns.
Monitor supplier performance and maintain positive vendor relationships.
Ensure procurement activities comply with company policies and established procedures.
Work independently to prioritize workload while supporting cross-functional teams as needed.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, operational buying, or supply chain.
Experience with SAP in a purchasing or procurement environment is required.
Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including data analysis, Pivot Tables, lookups, and reporting.
Experience creating procurement reports, dashboards, or data-driven insights.
Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively work with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
Self-motivated with the ability to manage multiple priorities with minimal supervision. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Operations, Data Analytics, or a related field.
Experience in manufacturing, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or other regulated industries.
Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or other business intelligence tools. #TMCA
