Edwards, Oracle EBS, or other relevant ERP systems to ensure timely acquisition of goods and services. Collaborate with vendors to negotiate pricing, delivery terms, and contractual agreements to secure favorable terms. Maintain accurate inventory levels through effective inventory management practices and supply chain coordination. Utilize spreadsheets and Excel data analysis techniques to evaluate supplier performance, pricing trends, and procurement metrics. Support sourcing activities by identifying new suppliers, evaluating proposals, and conducting direct negotiations for procurement needs. Coordinate with logistics teams to optimize shipping schedules, reduce costs, and improve overall supply chain efficiency. Monitor procurement activities within purchasing management systems supported by the organization's ERP platforms. Assist in developing sourcing strategies aligned with production planning and merchandising requirements. Maintain strong vendor communication channels to foster positive relationships and resolve issues promptly. Advanced Excel skills including data analysis, pivot tables, and spreadsheet modeling. Familiarity with procurement processes such as sourcing, pricing strategies, production planning, and merchandising. Ability to communicate effectively across diverse teams and external vendors. Understanding of accounting software applications relevant to procurement activities such as AS400 or equivalent platforms.
