Buyer
II - MRO
| $65K-$80K | Direct Hire If you know MRP, suppliers, quotes, and purchasing — we should talk. A growing printed circuit board manufacturing company is looking for an experienced Buyer II to own MRO purchasing and keep the operation moving. This is a 100% onsite, direct-hire opportunity with no relocation.
PAY & SCHEDULE
$65,000-$80,000/year 1st Shift | Monday-Friday | 8:00 AM-5:00 PM Hours may vary based on business needs Direct Hire | Onsite
WHAT YOU'LL DO
Purchase and manage MRO materials, tooling, chemicals, hardware, consumables, office supplies and facility services Analyze MRP requirements, inventory levels and production demand Run and action weekly Material Action Reports Source and qualify primary and secondary suppliers Request and evaluate quotes and make cost-effective purchasing decisions Create, monitor and maintain purchase orders Manage push-outs, pull-ins, cancellations, increases and reductions Partner with Receiving, Program Management, Master Scheduling and vendors to keep materials on track Develop strong supplier relationships and recovery plans when deliveries go sideways Track KPIs, provide management updates and participate in daily meetings Work within
AS9100, ISO
13485, ITAR, EAR and DoD requirements
WHAT YOU BRING
5+ years of Buyer experience in a manufacturing environment Strong indirect/MRO purchasing experience Quoting experience required Strong Excel and Microsoft Office skills Experience with MRP/ERP systems such as Epicor, SAP or Oracle Ability to read MRP requirements and catch errors Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Bachelor's degree preferred; relevant experience may substitute Aerospace/defense experience preferred AS9100, DoD and ITAR knowledge preferred Able to handle competing priorities, interruptions and tight deadlines without losing your cool Bottom line: We need a proactive Buyer who knows how to source smart, negotiate effectively, read the MRP, chase vendors when necessary, and keep production supplied. Pay:
$70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
