About the opportunity:
Responsible for the "direct" procurement activities for Vail Health and Surgery Center Supply Chain.What you will do:
Orders and expedites stock and non-stock supplies/services/equipment. Assures contracts/pricing are correct from time of order to invoice. Assist in item file/Vendor Maintenance. Checks Departmental requisitions for accuracy before ordering. Helps direct related inventory management functions. Member of Materials Admin On-Call team and will be responsible for filling in for non-productive coverage in a cross-trained environment. Trouble shoots fall outs and non-typical issues related to procurement. High degree of windows sub systems (excel, word, e-mail) and specialty MMIS software. Directs/coordinates communication with ordering departments. Works with Finance on invoicing discrepancies. Suggests improvements in Supply Chain methods and process. Role models the principles of a Just Culture and Organizational Values.
