Position Summary We are seeking a positive, dependable, and motivated Buyer/Planner to join our purchasing team. • Purchase and plan materials, packaging, and outside services to support manufacturing.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate material replenishment and transfers.
• Create and maintain Purchase Orders, work orders, and inventory transactions using an ERP/MRP system.
• Balance cost, quality, delivery, and inventory requirements when purchasing.
• Maintain customer packaging specifications and artwork and coordinate revisions with vendors.
• Perform inventory counts and utilize ERP reports and part-trace functions.
• Communicate with vendors and internal departments regarding orders, schedules, specifications, and issues.
• Assist with supplier negotiations and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
• Take on additional responsibilities as knowledge and experience grow. Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED required.
• Purchasing, planning, inventory, manufacturing, or supply chain experience preferred.
• ERP/MRP experience preferred.
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and willingness to learn are essential.
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel.
• Adobe Illustrator or graphic design experience is a plus. Physical Requirements
• Ability to lift/move up to 25 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Manufacturing environment with moderate to occasionally high noise and warm/hot conditions.

Pay:

$65,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
