PROCUREMENT SPECIALIST - CT
South Windsor, CT Manage supply chain with effective procurement of hardware, software and services from suppliers and subcontractors. Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, procurement, supply chain or similar
  • 5+ years of COTS procurement & subcontracting in accordance with ISO9001:2015 and AS9100D
  • Experience with procurement regulations (e.g., RoHS, Conflict Minerals, anti-counterfeit, REACH, CE)
  • Experience with procurement requirements for DOD contracts (FARS, DFARS, DPAS rated)
  • Proven experience and high efficiency in dynamic procurement needs
  • Proficient with Microsoft office applications (Outlook, Excel, Sharepoint, other 365 apps)
  • Strong independent decision-making skills, excellent analytical skills and professional judgment
  • Positive attitude, independent and accountable
  • Strong organizational skills, rapidly responsive, high attention to details and driven for improvements
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills Helpful Skills & Certifications
  • Experience procuring hardware and services for multiple project teams concurrently
  • Experience with multiple ERP systems
  • Familiar with cost accounting Responsibilities
  • Oversee all aspects of company's procurement/subcontracting to suppliers and service providers
  • Create purchase orders to suppliers/subcontractors per projects teams requests and drive procurement schedules in line with project schedule needs
  • Manage company products and inventory with surplus procurement
  • Maintain and report latest lead time and prices for commonly procured hardware & services
  • Manage procurement risks with suppliers (e.g., performance improvement and sourcing alternatives to combat any supplier performance issues, non-conformances and obsolescence)
  • Manage NDAs/agreements with suppliers/subcontractors
  • Continuous improvement of the internal procurement processes
  • Support all necessary Quality Management System needs (e.g., audit metrics)
  • Maintain procurement records & documentations
