Job Description Founded in 1928, P.J. Lodola & Sons, Inc. Electrical Contractors has been committed to quality and fairness while serving our customers in the areas of CT and MA. We are currently in search of a full time Purchasing Agent/ Warehouse Supervisor Job Summary Responsible for managing the day to day purchasing of electrical commodities in support of field operations and Project Management. This position requires an energetic professional who doesn't mind wearing multiple hats and has applicable experience in handling a wide range of administrative and warehouse tasks. The candidate must be well organized, flexible, have a positive attitude, strong written and verbal communication skills, and be self motivated. Responsibilities & Duties Develop and maintain great working relationships with suppliers, field workers, office staff, and project management. Support project teams with the issuance of major equipment purchases Ensure adequate support and distribution of work within purchasing Inventory Control Shipping & Receiving Manage relationships with key suppliers to maintain quality of goods, timely delivery, and compliance to terms on contracts Placing purchase orders and following up with vendors through order completion Data entry of purchase orders in accounting system Keep comprehensive records of company equipment and rentals on each job site Managing auto fleet maintenance Job Requirements Valid driver's license Must have a clean driving record Must have High School Diploma or GED/Equivalent Fork Lift Experience/ Certification Preferred Strong communication skills Strong organizational skills Must have knowledge of electrical materials Construction Industry experience a plus Sage 300 CRE experience a plus Benefits Competitive wages Medical/Dental/Vision insurance. 401-K & Employer Match 3 weeks PTO (after 1 year of employment).
