Purchasing Coordinator

DESCRIPTION
This organization is a truly aerospace global partner, serving customers' parts and inventory needs in more than 140 countries. They are currently embracing the potential of online sales and their digital marketplace, which has been growing exponentially and has tremendous potential for further expansion. As a purchasing coordinator, you will be tasked to ensure the day-to-day operation of the program between the organization and its partners. You will be responsible for issuing, coordinating, and managing purchase orders, as well as overseeing all steps of the process to ensure parts get delivered to customers right the first time and within the agreed lead-time. The Program Representative will serve as the lead point of contact for day-to-day account management matters.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage the day-to-day operational needs of the assigned programs. Manage order expedites and provide timely updates. Issue escalations to the Program Manager when necessary. Support monthly reviews with relevant performance metrics. Update and produce accurate operational reporting. Identify and highlight potential business growth opportunities. Support program risk management initiatives. Highlight and develop process efficiencies and improvements. Perform all other operational duties as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree a plus.
Experience:
Previous experience in projects, programs, or purchasing is highly beneficial.
Industry Knowledge:
Familiarity with aircraft parts and strict aviation quality requirements.
Technical:
Familiarity with ERP systems and proficient in Microsoft Office.
Analytical:
Experience responding to KPIs, strong data handling skills, and attention to detail.
Skills:
Excellent problem-solving, task, time, and results management capabilities.
Communication:
Excellent communication skills and good collaborative behavior.
