Job Description

Procurement Analyst & Indirect Specialist Position Summary Tampa Maid is a seeking a Procurement Analyst & Indirect Specialist (temporary role) to support day-to-day procurement operations with a focus on indirect purchasing, supplier coordination, reporting, data analysis, and process improvement. This role works closely with suppliers and internal departments to ensure purchasing activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and on time. Key Responsibilities Manage purchasing of indirect goods and services, including MRO, equipment, supplies, office products, and services. Create and manage purchase requisitions and purchase orders. Obtain and compare supplier quotes, pricing, availability, and lead times. Monitor open purchase orders and follow up on deliveries, discrepancies, and supplier issues. Prepare procurement reports covering spend, supplier performance, open POs, savings, and purchasing activity. Analyze purchasing data to identify trends, cost-saving opportunities, and process improvements. Maintain accurate supplier, item, pricing, contract, and procurement system data. Support supplier onboarding, sourcing activities, quote collection, and pricing updates. Partner with Accounts Payable, Finance, Operations, Quality, Maintenance, and other departments to resolve purchasing issues. Identify opportunities for supplier consolidation, standardization, cost reduction, and improved procurement processes. Support procurement projects, system improvements, and policy compliance. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Procurement, Business, Finance, or related field preferred. 2-5 years of procurement, purchasing, supply chain, or related experience. Indirect procurement experience preferred. Strong analytical and reporting skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP/procurement systems. Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently. Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
