Sr. Buyer - Must relocate to the Orlando, FL area. Relocation assistance available. Automotive experience is preferred.

Overview:

Provide parts, equipment, and materials by identifying manufacturing needs, identifying suppliers, and arranging delivery.

Responsibilities:

Develop purchasing specifications and performance test requirements by working with technical team and determining company requirements. Identify and select suppliers by negotiating and establishing long term agreements with suppliers that ensure best terms, delivery, quality and cost. Pursue cost reductions from suppliers for existing and new products. Purchases parts, equipment, and materials by following company policies and procedures. Arrange delivery of parts, equipment, and materials to locations. Resolves shipment quality discrepancies by mediating vendor/manufacturing issues. Prepares reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

Required Background:

A Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain preferred. 3-5 years of relevant sourcing experience required Excellent demonstrated negotiation skills Technical aptitude to successfully interface with Suppliers and Engineering team
