Job Description

What This Role Is… As a Procurement Specialist, the primary function of this position is managing the efficient flow of orders and materials within the department's supply cage for all Contract Sales projects. The Procurement Specialist is also responsible for receiving, tracking, and managing inventory, as well as ensuring timely deliveries to the designated distribution center (DC). The Procurement Specialist will also handle returns and maintain accurate records to support project coordinators and uphold inventory and organization standards. Your contributions will ensure the success of the Contract Sales team at

Sales/ Contract What You'll Do… As a Procurement Specialist, your primary responsibilities will be to:
  • Receive and inspect incoming packages, verifying their accuracy and quality. (15%)
  • Update the designated spreadsheet for each package to provide real-time information to project coordinators regarding order status. (10%)
  • Organize and place items grouped by project into designated racks within the supply cage. (10%)
  • Ensure accurate labeling and categorization of items to facilitate easy retrieval. (10%)
  • Pull and palletize items according to project specifications and timelines. (10%)
  • Coordinate with the distribution center (DC) to schedule and oversee product deliveries. (10%)
  • Receive returned items from previous project deliveries. (5%)
  • Update tracking sheets to prepare for returns to the original vendor or recategorize items for future projects.

Procurement Specialist:
  • Maintains high putaway standards to ensure all items are organized and accessible. (5%)
  • Follows 5S (Sort, Straighten, Shine, Standardize, Sustain) standards to uphold department cleanliness and organization. (5%)
  • Effectively communicates all received and shipped items to project coordinators. (5%)
  • Collaborates with various departments to resolve discrepancies or issues related to orders and deliveries. (5%)
  • Adheres to all assigned Standard Work and Role and Responsibilities for your role.

Education & Work Experience:
o High School Diploma or GED from an accredited institution preferred. o One (1) to three (3) years of experience within this type of environment
    Work Environment & Schedule:
    o Monday through Friday o Flexible 40-hour work week
      Physical Requirements:
      o Prolonged standing o Lifting up to 50lbs.
        Technology Requirements:
        o Knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs (i.e., Excel, Word, and Outlook, etc.) o Google Suite (i.e., Docs, Sheets, Slides, etc.)
