Job Description

Materials Coordinator I Job Description:
The Materials Coordinator I will support procurement and sourcing activities for EPC substation projects. This position works closely with Engineering, Project Management, and suppliers to obtain quotations, procure materials and equipment, issue purchase orders, and track deliveries to support project schedules and budgets.
Responsibilities:
1. Obtain supplier quotations and evaluate pricing, lead times, and availability. 2. Maintain pricing and lead-time information within bid and project BOMs. 3. Create, issue, and manage purchase orders. 4. Track open orders and coordinate on-time deliveries with suppliers. 5. Maintain procurement records, supplier databases, and pricing history. 6. Update material tracking systems and communicate status to project teams. 7. Upload and maintain procurement documentation in Procore and company systems. 8. Support bid preparation with current pricing and material availability. 9. Coordinate logistics, inventory replenishment, and supplier relationships. 10. Perform other duties, as assigned.
Desired Skills & Experience:
1. Associate degree in Business, Supply Chain, Construction Management, Engineering Technology, or related field required; Bachelor's degree preferred. 2. 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, materials management, or construction-related experience preferred. 3. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills. 4. Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously. 5. Advanced Microsoft Office skills required, particularly Excel. 6. Experience with Procore, ERP systems, and procurement software preferred. 7. Utility, Electrical, EPC, or construction industry experience is a plus. 8. Ability to occasionally work in warehouse or outdoor environments and lift up to 50 lbs. when necessary.
Pay:
$45,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
