Job Description

Responsible for the setups, startups, diagnosis, and troubleshooting of the injection molding machines and robots, all auxiliary equipment, and all secondary production equipment. Ensure all machines run at optimum cycles. Document cycle time and changes that are made to anything that may be pertinent to aid in future set-ups. .
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS
Essential job functions are duties that are critical or fundamental to the performance of the job. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job function satisfactorily; other duties being assigned as necessary to department, or company mission.
  • Set-up and start up machines
  • Analyze, diagnose, and properly adjust production/quality issues to ensure the desired results are obtained
  • Document cycle and changes that are made to the original set-up sheet
  • Set-up techs setting up the machines will maintain communications with the corresponding team on press status so the team can plan for start up and shut down
  • Assist with other team members with any process/die related issues
  • Responsible for die changes: o Complete die, material, robot tool change, machine start up, and first off parts taken to quality staff for review o Must complete die change over tracking sheets and lot certificates for any material change
  • Other duties as assigned.
