Job Description
Overview Our client, a growing company in the food and beverage industry, is looking for a Purchasing Coordinator . 【Position】Purchasing Coordinator 【Location】Chamblee, GA 【Compensation】$22
- 26/hour 【Schedule】Monday
- Friday / 9:00 AM

Responsibilities:
・Coordinate local purchasing of frozen, dry food, and non-food products. ・Manage vendor relationships, pricing, quality, transportation, and product development. ・Create purchase orders based on sales volume and inventory levels. ・Monitor inventory and resolve inventory discrepancies with the warehouse team. ・Process receipts, invoices, inventory adjustments, and pricing updates. ・Calculate product costs and pricing to determine profit margins. ・Coordinate transportation and deliveries with vendors and trucking companies. ・Ensure food products comply with FDA and USDA requirements and support food safety programs. ・Create promotional flyers, catalogs, and monthly sales materials. ・Support the Sales team by monitoring purchase orders and ensuring timely order completion.Qualifications:
・ 2+ years of relevant experience required. ・Business-level English required. ・Business-level Japanese preferred. ・High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree preferred. ・Strong organizational, time management, and attention-to-detail skills. ・Strong communication, interpersonal, customer service, and problem-solving skills. ・Advanced Microsoft Office, especially Excel, proficiency. ・Ability to work independently and as part of a team. ・Ability to adapt to changing assignments and workloads. ▼ Preferred Qualifications (Nice-to-Haves): ・Experience in the food industry. ・Purchasing, procurement, inventory, or supply chain experience. ・Knowledge of ERP systems, especially S2K or Microsoft Business Central. ・Knowledge of Japanese foods and sake. ・Interest in or familiarity with Japanese culture.Job Type:

$45,760.00- $54,080.
