Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage the procurement and shipping processes for indirect materials, supplies, and services. This role involves coordinating with vendors, maintaining ERP records, and supporting order management activities.
Responsibilities
Create, update, and track purchase orders for indirect materials, supplies, and services.
Work with vendors to confirm pricing, availability, lead times, and delivery dates.
Enter and maintain customer or internal orders within the ERP system.
Monitor open orders and communicate status updates, delays, or changes to stakeholders.
Prepare shipping documentation, coordinate pickups, and support inbound and outbound freight activities.
Maintain accurate ERP records for purchase orders, sales orders, inventory transactions, and shipments.
Resolve order discrepancies, invoice issues, and shipping-related problems.
Coordinate with operations, warehouse, finance, and customer service teams.
Support reporting and continuous improvement efforts related to purchasing, shipping, and order management.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience working within an ERP system (Oracle preferred).
Background in indirect procurement or purchasing support.
Experience with shipping administration, logistics coordination, or warehouse support.
Strong order management and data-entry skills.
Ability to manage multiple priorities with accuracy and follow-through.
Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and standard office software.
