In this role you will be working as a Supply Chain Buyer for a client that is in the electronic manufacturing industry. This role is responsible for ensuring timely procurement of materials, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting production and customer deliveries. This is a temp to possible perm role that must be performed on-site. The hours are Monday through Friday 7:30 am to 3:30 pm. The pay is $35.00 to $45.00 an hour based on experience.

Job Requirements:

Bachelors Degree in Business, Operations, or Supply Chain 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office Must have worked in ERP systems

APICS CPIM/CSCP, CPSM

certs are a plus (must have a willingness to obtain) Experience with procuring raw materials and components Experience coordinating inventory planning, replenishment, and forecasting activities with Production Control, Operations, Engineering, and Sales Develop and maintain strong vendor relationships, manage PO's, delivery schedules, expedites, and material shortages Experience leading supplier negotiations, RFQs, cost reduction initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvement efforts Experience with inventory accuracy initiatives, supplier evaluations, and continuous improvements #VIS
