Compensation:

$65K-$85K base + 7% annual bonus | Full benefits paid 100% by NSK | 401(k) with 5% match

Location:

We're hiring a Purchasing Coordinator at our U.S. headquarters in Hoffman Estates, IL to support procurement operations across our growing business. What You'll Do You'll be the engine behind our purchasing function — managing purchase orders, coordinating with domestic and international suppliers (including Japan and Germany), and keeping materials flowing to support production, service, and sales. You'll work cross-functionally with operations, quality, accounting, engineering, and our Japan headquarters to ensure everything is ordered accurately, arrives on time, and meets strict regulatory and quality standards. Day to day, that means: Creating, tracking, and managing purchase orders for materials, components, equipment, and services Communicating with suppliers on pricing, lead times, delivery schedules, and issue resolution Supporting inventory monitoring, shipment tracking, and warehouse coordination Maintaining purchasing documentation to support quality management systems and regulatory compliance (medical/dental product standards) Coordinating with Japan HQ on product availability, pricing, approvals, and special orders Assisting with audits, budget tracking, reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives

What You Bring Required:

Associate's degree or equivalent experience in purchasing, supply chain, or administration 5+ years in a purchasing, procurement, or manufacturing support role Strong proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel) Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and written/verbal communication Preferred (not required — but will set you apart): Experience in manufacturing — especially medical, dental, or regulated industries Familiarity with ERP systems and inventory management Experience working with international suppliers or HQ-based organizations Knowledge of quality systems, documentation control, or regulated purchasing environments Understanding of tariffs, import/export compliance Project management experience Why NSK?
