About Us PaliMex Distributors is a food & beverage wholesale distribution company serving the Chicagoland area. With over 6,500 products and continued growth, we are looking for a reliable and detail-oriented team member to support our purchasing and inventory operations. Position Overview We are seeking an Inventory & Purchasing Coordinator to work directly with our Head Buyer and support daily inventory and purchasing activities. This is a support role , ideal for someone who is organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working with numbers and data.
Key Responsibilities Inventory & Purchasing Support:
Run daily out-of-stock (OOS) and low inventory reports Update inventory records in system (ERP/Excel) Track and follow up on open purchase orders Communicate with vendors for order status and updates Assist with resolving inventory discrepancies Support the buyer with data and reportingOffice & Administrative Support:
Data entry (invoices, product setup, adjustments) Maintain organized records and documentation Assist with general office tasks as needed Qualifications Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Basic to intermediate Microsoft Excel skills required Comfortable working with numbers and reports Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Good communication skills Bilingual (English/Spanish) Previous inventory, purchasing, or office experience is a plus What We Offer Competitive hourly pay ($18/hour) Stable, full-time schedule (Monday-Friday) Team-oriented work environment How to Apply Apply through Indeed or in person at: 1376Industrial Dr, Itasca, IL Pay:
