About the Role If you're organized, detail-oriented, and like managing multiple priorities at once, this role gives you real scope. As a Buyer, you'll own the end-to-end purchasing process, from creating purchase orders to building strong supplier relationships. Your work directly shapes how smoothly our operations run and how cost-effectively we source the materials that power our fiber optic products. Create, issue, and track purchase orders based on departmental needs, with accuracy in quantities, pricing, and delivery timelines Review and process purchase requisitions from internal departments, confirming specifications before order placement Monitor open purchase orders from placement through receipt, proactively identifying and resolving delays or discrepancies Maintain daily contact with suppliers to confirm orders, negotiate pricing, and keep on-time delivery commitments Update and maintain accurate records in the ERP system, including pricing, lead times, item specifications, and vendor information Coordinate with warehouse and receiving teams to reconcile deliveries and address shortages or damages promptly What You'll Bring Have 1 to 3 years of purchasing, procurement, or supply chain experience (a plus, but not required) Are familiar with ERP systems like NetSuite, SAP, or Oracle, with careful attention to detail Communicate clearly in writing and verbally with vendors and cross-functional teammates Are proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel for tracking and reporting Can identify discrepancies, escalate issues appropriately, and resolve them promptly Work well across teams with warehouse, finance, and operations Want to read the full job description?
