Role Summary The Rivian Supply Chain team is looking for highly motivated and exceptional purchasing professionals to drive our capital investment strategies. As a Senior Global Supply Manager, you will serve as a key individual contributor responsible for the end-to-end sourcing strategy and lifecycle management for CapEx projects. You will navigate complex sourcing initiatives, concurrently leading projects with medium to large spend and complexity while supporting the execution of multi-generational vehicle and facility strategies. In this role, you will drive the competitive bid process with moderate leadership oversight, proactively identifying system efficiencies and refining enterprise functionality to improve procurement speed and accuracy. You are expected to negotiate most commercial terms of a contract, utilize cost estimation models to close "should-cost" gaps, and maintain strong relationships with Tier 1 suppliers to protect Rivian's financial and production interests. This position is based onsite in Atlanta (Social Circle), GA or Normal, IL or Plymouth, MI or Irvine, CA and reports to Director, Global Supply Management, Capex.

Responsibilities Sourcing:
Concurrently lead projects with medium to large spend and complexity; drive the competitive bid process with leadership oversight and lead manager-level reviews.Systems and Process:

Lead small-scale projects with autonomy; identify and mitigate low-complexity risks and provide proposals for resolution.Data Analysis:
Translate complex datasets into an easily understood manner for executives; synthesize data from multiple systems to create comprehensive analyses.Qualifications Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, or Engineering and a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.Domain Expertise:
Experience in creating commodity strategies and navigating various factors of impact (economic/political).Commodity-Specific Experience:
CapEx or Technical sourcing experience preferably within battery, automotive or electronics Supplier management Manufacturing or factory experienceTechnical Skills:
Proficient in SAP, Basecamp, and cost estimation models.Communication:
Strong distributor of information; able to defuse conflicts and provide clear feedback to peers.Execution:
Ability to independently implement solutions for familiar problems and prioritize tasks to meet area-specific milestones.Operational Style:
Operates with moderate autonomy; manages responsibilities and assigned projects with periodic guidance.Travel Requirements:
Ability and willingness to travel as needed based on business needs, expected to average between 20-30 %. Pay Disclosure The salary range for this role is $98,500 - $123,100 for Atlanta, Georgia, Plymouth, Michigan, and Normal, Illinois based applicants and $107,800 - $134,800 for Irvine, California based applicants. This is the lowest to highest salary we in good faith believe we would pay for this role at the time of this posting. An employee's position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but not limited to, specific competencies, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, geographic location, shift, and organizational needs. The successful candidate may be eligible for annual performance bonus and equity awards. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits for full-time and part-time employees, their spouse or domestic partner, and children up to age 26, including but not limited to paid vacation, paid sick leave, and a competitive portfolio of insurance benefits including life, medical, dental, vision, short-term disability insurance, and long-term disability insurance to eligible employees.
