  • CAPCO is a growing automotive metal stamping manufacturer serving leading OEM and Tier 1 customers.
We are seeking a motivated Sales & Purchasing Specialist to join our team and play a key role in developing customer relationships, managing purchasing activities, coordinating new business opportunities, and supporting successful product launches. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong customer and supplier relationships, negotiating pricing, managing multiple projects, and working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. What You'll Do As our Sales & Purchasing Specialist, you will: Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers and suppliers. Identify and support new business opportunities and product development initiatives. Coordinate new projects from quotation through production launch. Prepare and assist with competitive pricing and cost analysis. Communicate customer requirements throughout the organization. Manage purchasing activities for raw materials, tooling, production components, equipment, and indirect materials. Negotiate pricing, delivery schedules, payment terms, and supplier agreements. Resolve supplier shortages, quality concerns, and delivery issues. Collaborate with engineering, production, quality, finance, and management teams to ensure successful project execution. Prepare business forecasts and maintain project timelines. Maintain supplier records, pricing history, and purchasing documentation. Identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings. Travel to customer, supplier, and corporate locations as needed. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, Economics, or related field, or equivalent work experience. Strong organizational and time management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong negotiation and relationship-building abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously. Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially Excel). Experience with ERP/MRP systems. Preferred 2+ years of experience in automotive sales, purchasing, or supply chain. Experience reading engineering drawings or blueprints. CAD/CAM knowledge. Bilingual English/Japanese is a plus but not required.   • Bi-lingual in Japanese and English is a plus but not required.
  • Knowledge of Metal Stamping manufacturing processes and equipment is preferred.
