Job description: Leaders Staffing's Direct Hire Division is seeking skilled Purchasing Coordinator (Temp to Perm) for our Manufacturing client located in Fort Wayne, IN. You will support purchasing and materials operations in an automotive manufacturing environment. This role is ideal for someone with experience in purchasing, procurement, MRO, inventory, sourcing, requisitions, and vendor management .

Responsibilities:

Review purchase requests and identify qualified supply sources Create purchase orders and requisitions Source products using online vendors and supplier websites Place orders through Amazon, eBay, and other purchasing platforms Track and distribute incoming UPS, FedEx, and DHL shipments to appropriate departments Maintain purchasing records and assist with inventory-related needs Work within ERP systems (IQMS training provided)

Qualifications:

Previous experience in purchasing, procurement, buyer, inventory control, MRO, supply chain, or materials management Basic Excel skills, including navigating spreadsheets and tabs Comfortable conducting internet-based product and supplier searches Strong organizational skills and attention to detail Manufacturing experience preferred Some college education preferred, but not required
