Position
  • Procurement Assistant (this is not an accountant position) The Procurement Assistant position is classified as supporting an administrative department for the Regional Care Group network.
The individual hired will represent the Regional Care Group network in official communications and provide essential support to purchasing operations.
Position Description:
The Procurement Assistant works in the Purchasing Department, is able to process all aspects related to the purchasing process, provides technical assistance to the Purchasing Manager, Purchasing Assistants, and completes projects assigned to the department.
Schedule:
Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM

$17.93

Essential Functions:
Inventory Support
  • Assist with maintaining inventory records, including adding or removing items, conducting pricing comparisons, and helping with inventory distribution Vendor Coordination
  • Communicate with vendors, follow up on requests, and help ensure timely order processing and delivery Administrative Support
  • Generate reports, prepare and file requisitions, process incoming and outgoing mail, and maintain departmental logs Verify and track orders received from various departments to ensure accuracy Maintain organized and accurate procurement documentation Assist with preparing end-of-month reports and summaries Provide general support to the Purchasing Manager and team as needed Physical Requirement
  • Lift and carry items of 15 pounds or more as needed
Requirements:
Associate's Degree 2+ years of experience in an office or administrative environment (purchasing, bookkeeping, or office coordination experience a plus) Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
