Full Job Description Job Overview:
Looking to play a key role in ensuring production runs smoothly through effective supplier and inventory management? Join Marvin as a Purchasing Agent and contribute to delivering high-quality materials that support the fabrication of premium windows and doors. In this role, you'll be responsible for securing the right materials at the right time, quantity, and cost while meeting quality and performance standards. This position partners with suppliers and internal teams to maintain inventory accuracy, manage risk, and support continuous improvement across purchasing operations.
Highlights of your role:
Maintain MRP drivers and update production forecasts to ensure optimal inventory levels Build supplier accountability through performance reviews, scorecards, and improvement discussions Analyze purchase price variance and identify cost reduction opportunities Coordinate logistics, shipments, and supplier stocking plans to ensure on-time material delivery Partner with internal teams and suppliers to manage risk, quotes, and new materials You're a good fit if you have (or if you can): Strong analytical, communication, and computer skills to support data-driven purchasing decisions Knowledge of purchasing processes, supplier management, and material quality requirements Ability to evaluate inventory usage, identify trends, and adjust plans to meet production needs Capability to influence outcomes, manage priorities, and collaborate across teams Also want to make sure you have: Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain management, finance, or a related field (preferred) 2-3 years of experience in supply chain, purchasing, or a related discipline Experience with MRP systems, forecasting, or inventory management practices Professional certification or demonstrated commitment to continued learning (preferred) We invite you to See Yourself at
