  • Broussard, LA Broussard, LA Job Details 1 hour ago Benefits Disability insurance Health insurance Dental insurance Vision insurance 401(k) matching Qualifications High school diploma or GED Material handling equipment operation Full Job Description General Purpose of the Job Provides day-to-day support to Procurement operations related to new asset processing, movement and verification of new assets, modifications to existing assets, and inventory handling of bar stock.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Load and unload trucks using a forklift and overhead crane. Move tools and assets within the shop using a forklift and overhead crane. Transport tools to and from various workstations across the campus using a forklift. Use handheld power tools in support of asset processing activities. Perform inventory functions, measure and document bar stock length. Perform dimensional checks on assets. Steel-stamp and stencil assets as required. Review shipping and receiving paperwork for assets being received or loaded for shipment. Follow and adhere to applicable Quality Assurance (QA) and Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) policies and procedures. Minimum Requirements High school diploma or GED required. Prior experience in a shop, warehouse, procurement support, material handling, shipping/receiving, or related industrial environment is preferred. Technical and Behavioral Abilities Ability to safely operate a forklift and overhead crane for the duties assigned; required training or authorization should be established in accordance with company policy. Ability to use handheld power tools. Ability to perform basic dimensional checks and asset marking/stenciling. Ability to review shipping and receiving documentation accurately.
