Job Description
EMPLOYMENT OPPORTUNITY
MATERIALSPURCHASING
Cospolich is seeking a senior-level individual with sound knowledge of sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing of materials related to the manufacturing of mechanical products, technical in nature. The position requires a depth of experience in acquiring metals, electrical components, and mechanical assemblies. There should be skill sets for establishing the perpetual supply of materials in support of continuing production processes. The individual must assume responsibility for leadership in the department. They must possess interpersonal skills required in communicating throughout a multitude of departments, including but not limited to inventory, production, and engineering. There should be confidence in managing and directing those in subordinate roles. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment, and capable of developing strong supplier relationships while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.- A founded ability and comprehension of ERP/MRP systems.
- Negotiating acquisitions of $1 million purchase contracts.
- Facilitating 15 to 20 daily transactions. Estimated annually $20M.
- Depth of knowledge within the fields of materials relating to our processes and requirements.
- Establishing long-term purchasing agreements.
- Professional acumen and integrity of the highest level.
- Compatible organizational skills, detail-oriented, comfortable working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- Capable of developing strong supplier relationships while balancing cost, quality, and delivery requirements.
- Conflict resolution regarding any phases of materials acquisitions Associate or bachelor's degree in business, Supply Chain Management, Operations, or a related field preferred.
Pay:
$70,000.00- $90,000.
