Keystone Engineering is currently seeking a Procurement Specialist to join our team within our Mandeville/Metairie office team.

Responsibilities:
Excels at the Roles & Responsibilities listed for the "Procurement Clerk" classification. Works with engineering to develop a list of procurement packages to be bid and awarded. Works with engineering to communicate this information to project controls for the purpose of preparing a procurement schedule. Prepares/performs the following for each procurement package: Recommended bid list. Commercial input to the bid package. Assemble the procurement package into a bid package. Issue bid package to vendors on approved vendor list. Receive commercial and technical quotes from each vendor. Evaluate commercial terms of the bid. Prepare a bid evaluation including commercial and technical terms of the bid. Prepare or assist-in-preparing purchase order for the bid. Prepares/performs the following for each purchase order (PO): Process requisitions into POs. Expedite each PO. Assist Engineering in the receipt/distribution of approval drawings/information from vendor. Coordinate the engineering/drafting review/markup of each set of approval drawing/information from vendor. Manage, if required, a change order from vendor. Notify recipient of equipment/material of delivery date and mode of transportation of the equipment/material. Gather, retain, and forward to Client all paperwork related to PO. Track and verify that all deliverables have been received from vendor. Issue to Client recommendation to pay vendor. Works with engineering to assemble Vendor Data books. Finalizes input of all procurement information into project files. Assists with project audits if required and assists in insuring that all nonconformances identified within the work assigned to the Procurement group are resolved satisfactorily. Possesses an awareness of project schedule and budget. Possesses a full understanding of all of the sections of the Keystone Procedures Manual applicable to the technical discipline assigned to the employee. Continuously practices Quality Control while executing the work. Actively promotes and personally observes all company, client, and regulatory Health, Safety, Security, & Environment (HSSE) procedures.
Requirements:
High School diploma or
GED. 2-5
years of professional working experience. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and Office. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Self-motivated, organized, and solution advocate. High-level of attention to detail. Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the U.S. for any employer.
Experience Preferred:
Associate's Degree
