Job Description
Eaton's Electrical Sector America - ARS/Fibrebond division is currently seeking an MRO Buyer at our manufacturing facility located in Minden, LA. The MRO Buyer is responsible for managing and tracking maintenance, repairs, and operations inventory, ensuring that essential parts and supplies are available when needed. This includes coordinating with vendors, processing purchase orders, monitoring stock levels, and collaborating with maintenance and operations teams to schedule timely deliveries. Fibrebond, an Eaton company, designs and manufactures pre integrated modular buildings and power enclosures that protect mission critical equipment for data center, industrial, utility, and communications customers. Headquartered in Minden, Louisiana, Fibrebond is known for its engineered to order solutions that support complex infrastructure projects across North America. In 2025, Fibrebond was acquired by Eaton, expanding Eaton's modular solutions portfolio while preserving Fibrebond's strong engineering expertise, customer focus, and manufacturing operations in Louisiana. The expected annual salary range for this role is $56000 - $83000 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate skills, experience, and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. ## What you'll do:
- Oversee all tools and shop supplies and manage part number assignments for materials.
- Ensure proper documentation, such as: accurate tool lists, restocking spreadsheets, current price lists, contracts and purchasing agreements, is maintained
- Maintain the price increase and update log as needed
- Identify potential savings and drive cost out reduction opportunities for material
- Support and facility Eaton's GPO strategy for all MRO items at the plant level
- Participate in continuous improvement events as needed
- Efficiently resolve order discrepancies and delays
- Evaluate new potential vendors and continuously assess performance of current vendors
- Resolve invoices and account discrepancies in DocStar,
- Analyze inventory levels/adjust inventory levels and adjust stocking levels and reorder points accordingly
- Serve as negotiator and principle point of contact for assigned suppliers
- Create and provide accurate Purchasing Orders
- Perform special projects as assigned ##
Qualifications:
Basic (required)Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED from and accredited institution
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a purchasing or supply chain role

Preferred Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Minimum two (2) years of experience in a purchasing or supply chain role in a manufacturing environment
- Previous experience using Epicor ERP and Microsoft Excel ##
