What You'll Do Procurement & Sourcing Support Support sourcing projects across ingredients, packaging, and selected indirect spend categories. Assist with supplier qualification and onboarding activities for new ingredients and suppliers. Coordinate requests for proposals (RFPs), supplier documentation, pricing updates, and contract administration. Maintain supplier records, pricing files, contracts, and procurement documentation. Assist in preparing sourcing recommendations and business cases for leadership. Supplier & Commercial Support Build productive relationships with suppliers through day-to-day communication and follow-up. Coordinate supplier samples, documentation, certifications, and commercial information. Track supplier performance metrics, pricing changes, and service levels. Support supplier business reviews and maintain action item tracking. Monitor commodity and ingredient market trends and summarize findings for the sourcing team. Innovation & Cross-Functional Support Partner with Innovation, Quality, Manufacturing, and Planning to help commercialize new ingredients and suppliers. Coordinate ingredient evaluations, tasting samples, and commercialization milestones. Support reformulations, packaging changes, and new product launches. Maintain inventory of innovation ingredients and supplier samples for development work. Assist with supplier visits, facility audits, and sustainability initiatives as needed. Analytics & Process Improvement Prepare spend analyses, pricing comparisons, and sourcing reports. Maintain procurement dashboards and reporting tools. Identify opportunities to improve sourcing processes, documentation, and data quality. Help ensure procurement documentation remains organized, accurate, and audit-ready. Support special projects as the procurement organization continues to grow. Requirements Who You Are Curious, analytical, and eager to learn. Highly organized with exceptional attention to detail. Comfortable working with data while also building strong relationships. Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Collaborative and proactive, with strong follow-through. Interested in food, beverages, agriculture, sustainability, and supply chain. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business, Finance, Operations, Food Science, or a related field. 0-2+ years of experience in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain, or a related field. Recent college graduates are encouraged to apply but should have relevant internship or co-op experience in one or more of these areas. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel. Experience working with ERP systems is preferred (NetSuite is a plus). Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and project coordination skills. Ability to travel up to 15-20% as needed. Ability to work four days per week from Spindrift's Newton, MA headquarters. Benefits Compensation & Benefits The salary range for this position is $70,000 to $90,000. The final salary will be determined based on the selected candidate's relevant experience, skills, and qualifications.
