Scope of Responsibility:
Associate Sourcing Manager reporting to the Director of Strategic Sourcing. Identify, qualify, negotiate and manage strategic supplier relationships. Identify primary and secondary sources of supply - both domestic and international. Effectively work cross-functionally with R D, quality and product management to drive the new product introduction process. Partner with contract manufacturing to ensure supply/ingredient compatibility with the manufacturing process.
Background Required:
Highly energetic, creative, self-directed individual with at least 2 years of global sourcing / procurement experience. Background that includes some combination of purchasing food, nutrition, dietary supplements, proteins, vitamins, enzymes, organic flavors / sweeteners, and/or other ingredients. Demonstrated experience in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment managing multiple projects and establishing processes.
Compensation Plan:
$70,000 - $90,000. Full benefit package.
