Westborough, MA Schedule:
On-site, Monday-Friday, approximately 8:00 AM-4:30/5:00
PM Pay:
$24-$27/hour
Type:
Temporary/Contract - approximately 3 months Position Overview We are seeking detail-oriented Replenishment Buyers to support purchasing, inventory management, and product availability for a fast-paced retail organization. This position will work closely with vendors, distribution partners, and internal teams to ensure products are available when needed while maintaining appropriate inventory levels. This is a great opportunity for someone with early-career experience in purchasing, inventory, supply chain, marketing, or a related area who enjoys working with data and solving problems. Responsibilities Manage inventory and replenishment for assigned products and vendors. Review inventory levels, sales trends, and demand to determine purchasing needs. Create, maintain, and track purchase orders. Monitor product availability and help prevent out-of-stocks and excess inventory. Communicate regularly with vendors regarding orders, deliveries, and inventory concerns. Partner with suppliers and carriers to resolve shipping and delivery issues. Track key inventory metrics, including inventory levels, fill rates, and aged inventory. Coordinate with internal teams on new products, promotions, and seasonal inventory requirements. Research and resolve discrepancies involving purchase orders, shipments, and inventory. Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory information within internal systems. Identify opportunities to improve inventory levels and replenishment processes. Support additional purchasing and inventory-related projects as needed. Qualifications 1+ year of experience in buying, purchasing, inventory management, replenishment, marketing, supply chain, or a related area . Experience with an ERP, MRP, purchasing, or inventory management system is a plus. Strong Excel skills and comfort working with data. Ability to review information, identify trends, and make informed decisions. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage multiple vendors, orders, and priorities simultaneously. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Effective problem-solving skills and a proactive approach. Ability to work successfully in a fast-paced, collaborative environment. #TNG123
