Job Requirements Aberdeen Proving Ground, MD Secret Polygraph Unspecified Career Level not specified Salary not specified Join Premium to unlock estimated salaries Job Description Delta Point is seeking an Acquisition Specialist to support acquisition and sustainment operations by coordinating procurement actions, maintaining acquisition documentation, tracking requirements and sourcing data, and ensuring compliance with Army and DoD regulations. This position works closely with contracting, logistics, supply chain, and program management personnel to support the procurement of products and services that sustain mission readiness. Essential Duties Support acquisition and procurement activities from requirement identification through award and execution. Prepare, review, and maintain acquisition packages, procurement documentation, and supporting records. Coordinate with stakeholders to gather requirements, cost information, and technical data needed for procurement actions. Track procurement requests, sourcing activities, and acquisition milestones to ensure timely execution. Analyze inventory, supply, and sourcing data to support acquisition planning and decision-making. Monitor NIIN and related logistics data to support procurement and sustainment requirements. Maintain acquisition records, databases, and tracking tools to ensure accuracy and completeness. Assist with market research, spend analysis, and procurement planning activities. Support audits, reviews, and compliance initiatives by maintaining accurate and audit-ready documentation. Prepare reports, metrics, and status updates for leadership and program stakeholders. Coordinate with contracting, logistics, property, and supply personnel to resolve procurement-related issues. Participate in process improvement initiatives that enhance acquisition efficiency and data quality. Requirements Active Secret Security Clearance. 7+ years experience supporting federal acquisition, procurement, contracting, logistics, or supply chain operations. Experience preparing and maintaining procurement and acquisition documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Preferred Qualifications Experience supporting CECOM, Army, DoD, or other federal acquisition organizations. Familiarity with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulation Supplement (DFARS). Experience supporting acquisition planning, procurement package development, and contract administration activities. Knowledge of Army logistics, sustainment, and supply chain operations. Experience with government acquisition and logistics systems.
