Job Description

Procurement Quality Engineer Electronic Electrical A Procurement Quality Engineer, with experience in inspecting/testing electronic components and assemblies, is required in the Baltimore and Mid Atlantic areas for Defense/Military and Aerospace Programs.

Candidate must be able to travel to various suppliers' facilities located primarily in the mid-Atlantic area with occasional exceptions.

The candidate must be flexible to accommodate shifting priorities and be able to work well with supplier representatives and have good communication skills.

Candidates must have a cell phone/pager and a FAXComputer literate in EXCEL and Word.

He/she must have at least 5 years of quality assurance experience, which includes:1. Familiar with
ISO-9001/20002.
Experience in RF Hybrids, Mil PRF 38534, and Mil Std 883 Methods 2017/2010/2032, (MUST HAVE)3. Ability to inspect and witness test on RF Hybrids, integrated microwave assemblies,4. Ability to verify that a Supplier's ATP meets the requirements of the Northrop Grumman specifications,5. Evaluate and perform First Article Inspections,6. Qualification test witness,7. Experienced with J-STD-001 and
IPC 610B
soldering,8. Experienced in inspecting electrical assemblies.

The following background or experience is a plus:1.
CQA, CQE, CQM,2.
Familiar with dimensioning and tolerancing per
ANSI-STD Y14.5,3.
Evaluation of corrective action for nonconforming products and the associated recommended corrective action,4. Familiar with
IPC-6205. DOD
Secret Clearance6. Ability to read and interpret complex drawings, specifications, geometric tolerances, schematics and processes,
