Security Officer

Job Summary We are seeking a vigilant and proactive Security Officer to safeguard MATCOM Sites. In this dynamic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a secure environment through vigilant surveillance, prompt incident response, and effective conflict management. Responsibilities Conduct regular patrols of the premises to identify potential security breaches or hazards. Must have open availability. Control access points by verifying identification and authorizing entry for employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors. Manage conflict situations with professionalism, employing conflict management techniques to de-escalate disputes. Collaborate with law enforcement agencies during investigations or incidents requiring external assistance. Maintain detailed logs of daily activities, incidents, and security breaches for reporting purposes. Skills Military Personnel looking to be hired, will be hired on the spot! Proven experience in security roles or law enforcement with a strong understanding of security protocols. Knowledge of surveillance equipment such as CCTV systems and experience with loss prevention strategies. Ability to respond calmly under pressure while managing emergency situations effectively. Familiarity with military or law enforcement training enhances situational awareness and tactical response skills. Strong observational skills combined with excellent communication abilities to interact confidently with team members and visitors.

Pay:

$16.00 - $20.00 per hour
