Weekends are mandatory! We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Armed Security Officer to join our team. This role is essential in maintaining a safe and secure environment for our clients and their properties. The ideal candidate will possess strong conflict management skills, a keen eye for surveillance, and the ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. As an Armed Security Officer, you will be responsible for protecting assets, enforcing laws, and ensuring the safety of individuals on-site. Responsibilities Monitor and patrol assigned areas to deter and detect signs of intrusion or suspicious activity. Operate surveillance equipment, including CCTV systems, to maintain constant oversight of premises. Respond promptly to alarms and incidents, assessing situations quickly and taking appropriate action. Enforce rules and regulations while maintaining a professional demeanor at all times. Conduct thorough inspections of facilities to identify potential security risks or breaches. Collaborate with law enforcement when necessary, providing detailed reports on incidents as required. Provide first aid and CPR assistance as needed in emergency situations. Engage in loss prevention strategies to minimize theft or damage to property. Maintain accurate logs of daily activities, incidents, and observations. Experience Previous experience in law enforcement or military service is preferred but not mandatory. Certification of MD Guard card (active) and MD Wear and carry (active) required at hiring Proficiency in conflict management techniques and crisis intervention strategies. Familiarity with surveillance technology and loss prevention methods is advantageous. Certification in CPR and First Aid is a plus. Strong observational skills with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
