Purchasing Agent Grunley Construction Company Inc United States, Maryland, Rockville 15020 Shady Grove Road (Show on map) Aug 11, 2026 The Purchasing Agent is responsible for assisting the Purchasing Department in procuring subcontractors and professional services related to necessary construction trades able to perform construction duties on all company projects. The Purchasing Agent will report to the Purchasing Manager.

Required Experience:

The Purchasing Agent requires three (3) years of experience working in the construction industry, with a background knowledge of contracts, costs, scheduling, estimating, construction means and methods, and general knowledge of the overall operations of a general contracting company.

Preferred Education/Experience:

Bachelor's degree in a related field. Experience with Procore. Estimating or purchasing experience.

Preferred Skills:

Mustpossess strong team building, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills. Strong ability to make a decision. Strong negotiation abilities. Ability to understand complex problems and to collaborate and explore alternative solutions. Ability to make decisions which have moderate impact on immediate work unit. Must be a US Citizen.
