No Come Drive Innovation with Us. We are currently looking for a Buyer 2, Electronics to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. In this role, you'll manage supplier relationships and lead sourcing activities to procure production and non-production parts, services, and commodities across Smyrna, Mexico, and Canton. You'll ensure suppliers meet Nissan's standards for quality, cost, and delivery while supporting uninterrupted production by coordinating with internal teams and resolving supply issues. Additionally, you'll contribute to operational support and help drive brand value and long-term profitable growth. A Day in the Life The responsibilities listed are not intended to be an exhaustive list of all duties for this role. Additional tasks may be assigned, as needed, to support business objectives. Leads pricing negotiations and establishes cost-effective agreements for assigned commodities. Identifies, evaluates, and develops suppliers to meet current and future production needs. Ensures suppliers meet quality, cost, and delivery expectations through performance management and analysis. Manages contracts, purchase orders, and supplier records while maintaining organized documentation. Drives cost reduction initiatives and coordinates cross-functional efforts to ensure uninterrupted supply and resolve issues.
Who We're Looking For Required:
Bachelor's degree required. In lieu of a Bachelor's degree, candidates must possess 8 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates with an Associate's degree must have an additional 4 years of relevant experience. Ability to work on-site in Farmington Hills, MI. Ability to travel up to 20%.
Desired:
