An indirect procurement organization is the team that helps a company buy the goods and services it needs to operate, but that are not directly resold to customers. For example, in retail, indirect procurement may support areas like technology, facilities, equipment, marketing, travel, supplies, and maintenance. The team works with business partners to understand what they need, find qualified suppliers, negotiate pricing and contract terms, manage supplier relationships, and look for ways to reduce costs or improve service. In simple terms, indirect procurement helps the company spend money wisely, choose the right suppliers, reduce risk, and make sure teams have what they need to run the business effectively. As an intern, you will be responsible for sourcing a category of spend. For example, snow removal services, meat coat cleaning services, Microsoft services negotiations, etc. The intern may also get exposure to other activities of the function, including: You will also create, test and launch AI agents to create more efficient ways to support business customer purchases from established buying channels.Qualifications :
