This role is responsible for coordinating purchasing transactions, maintaining strong supplier relationships, and helping ensure materials are available when needed. The ideal candidate brings strong communication skills, sound judgment in cost management, and the ability to keep purchasing records accurate and up to date.

Responsibilities:

Manage the creation and follow-up of purchase orders, ensuring confirmations are received and tracked accurately. Work closely with suppliers to maintain productive relationships, request pricing, and address order-related issues in a timely manner. Review pricing details and communicate significant cost differences to the appropriate teams for awareness and resolution. Support inventory oversight by helping maintain accurate purchasing data and contributing to effective stock control practices. Update sourcing records, vendor information, and related procurement documentation as needed. Partner with the Receiving team to investigate shipment discrepancies and provide purchasing details that support issue resolution. Assist field installation leads with purchase order needs to help keep projects moving on schedule. Contribute to cost-reduction efforts by monitoring purchasing activity and identifying savings opportunities. Coordinate vendor onboarding activities and ensure required supplier information is properly recorded. Experience processing purchase orders and maintaining accurate procurement records. Working knowledge of vendor management, supplier communication, and contract-related coordination. Familiarity with inventory planning, inventory controls, cycle counts, or audit support. Ability to review price quotes and identify discrepancies or cost-saving opportunities. Strong written and verbal communication skills with a detail-focused approach to internal and external interactions. High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency with purchasing systems, spreadsheets, and general administrative tools.
