We sell a variety of product categories as a 1st Party Seller, including toys, games, pet, sports & outdoor, home and patio, lawn & garden. Flat River Group has experienced incredible growth, and we now have multiple US-based distribution facilities. Your Mission in This Role ✨ We're recruiting a Purchasing Support Specialist to help manage the administrative, product, and system-related processes that support our Purchasing department. This position plays an important role in ensuring product information, imagery, content, purchase orders, and reporting are accurate, organized, and ready to support our sales channels and internal teams. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable balancing multiple priorities. Strong written communication, accuracy, creativity, and the ability to work collaboratively across teams will be important in this role. What You'll Get to Do ✨ Develop compelling, brand-aligned product copy using traditional copywriting techniques and AI-assisted content creation to support marketing and sales across multiple channels. Manage and maintain visual assets for product setup and content updates, including image organization, naming, editing, and enhancement to support brand and company standards. Coordinate and maintain product setup information to ensure items are accurately and completely represented across sales channels. Review setup documentation, imagery, and system data for accuracy, consistency, and completeness. Input and maintain accurate, up-to-date product information within internal systems, including item lifecycle status, costing, and hierarchy classifications. Prepare, format, and distribute key reports to support internal teams and external partners. Support the purchasing process through accurate purchase order entry and ongoing maintenance of purchase order information. Provide administrative support to the Purchasing department and contribute to special projects and initiatives as assigned Skills That Make You Shine ✨
Image Software:
Experience editing within Photoshop (preferred)
Technical Proficiency:
Strong computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Excel. Utilized AI software tools (preferred) Ability to sit for extended periods while working at a desk or computer. Capability to move around for tasks that require mobility. Excellent vision and hearing skills to perform job responsibilities effectively through in person, telephone, and written communication. Capacity to engage in verbal communication, actively listen, and respond appropriately. Must be able to lift up ~10lbs. Ability to occasionally bend, twist, stoop, and reach. Experience That Sets You Up for Success ✨ 2+ years of relevant experience in a dynamic office or business environment is preferred or associates degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field.
Copywriting:
Experience in developing product copy tailored for e-commerce platforms (preferred but not required)
Image Editing:
Skilled in using tools such as Photoshop to edit and improve visual assets (preferred but not required)
