Job Description
Job Summary LTW is seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented Purchasing Specialist to join our procurement team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing the end-to-end purchasing process, ensuring timely acquisition of goods and services while maintaining optimal inventory levels. Your expertise in procurement management, vendor negotiations, and supply chain coordination will be crucial in supporting our operational goals. This position offers an exciting opportunity to influence supply chain efficiency and build strong supplier relationships within a fast-paced environment. Duties Develop and execute sourcing strategies to identify reliable suppliers and optimize costs through effective price negotiation and contract management Manage procurement activities using Global Shop Solutions ERP. Conduct supplier evaluations, vendor contract negotiations, and ongoing vendor management to ensure quality, delivery timeliness, and compliance with contractual terms Monitor inventory levels using inventory management systems and MRP (Material Requirements Planning) tools to forecast needs accurately and prevent stock shortages or excesses Collaborate with cross-functional teams including supply chain management, logistics, and finance to coordinate procurement plans aligned with organizational objectives Analyze Excel data reports for procurement trends, pricing analysis, and inventory control insights to support strategic decision-making Oversee purchasing management systems supporting procurement processes, ensuring data accuracy and process efficiency Qualifications Proven experience in procurement management, sourcing, vendor management, and contract negotiation within a supply chain environment Strong proficiency with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle EBS, or similar platforms; familiarity with automated procurement systems preferred Expertise in supply chain management principles, inventory control, and inventory management systems Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to establish mutually beneficial vendor agreements Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel data analysis for reporting and decision support purposes Knowledge of purchasing management systems (technically supported) and supplier management practices Demonstrated ability to lead negotiations for procurement contracts while maintaining compliance with company policies and industry standards Join us as a Purchasing Specialist to drive operational excellence through strategic sourcing, effective vendor partnerships, and innovative procurement solutions.
