Job Description
Description Coordinate and oversee inventory control Ensure preflight inventory is onsite prior to production. Collect required information from sales, project management, customers, and acquiring costs from suppliers. Identify and present possible cost savings. Conduct contract review, follow-up with project managers on received jobs. Complete purchase order reviews, and aid in resolving any conflicts. Complete allocations of payroll and job time in ERP. Book transportation traffic coordination incoming and outgoing Any other duties as required by management Requirements 1-3 years of purchasing, procurement, buying, or supply-chain experience. Preferred but not required post-secondary education in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Procurement, or a related. Onsite and shopfloor presence is required and encouraged. Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail. Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel. Experience using an ERP or purchasing/inventory management system. Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Strong understanding of purchasing processes, inventory management, and supplier performance.
