Buyer | Tecumseh, MI | Direct Hire We are seeking an experienced Buyer to join our partner in Tecumseh, MI. This position will manage the procurement of materials needed for production while ensuring the best combination of price, quality, and delivery to maintain a consistent supply.

Schedule:

8:00am - 4:30pm | Monday - Friday |

Onsite Compensation:

Up to $65,000

What You'll Do:

Process and manage purchase orders, including pricing, quantities, specifications, and delivery requirements Monitor MRP, inventory levels, and material requirements to maintain a steady supply Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with suppliers Coordinate, track, and expedite material deliveries while resolving supplier issues Identify and help resolve supply chain issues that could impact production Maintain purchasing information in the ERP system and collaborate with internal teams to ensure materials are available when needed

What We're Looking For:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain or a related field with 2+ years of buying/planning experience, OR 3+ years of related experience Working knowledge of MRP/ERP systems and material management Understanding of BOMs and inventory planning Strong communication, organization, and negotiation skills Ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including

Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook Work Environment:

Office-based position within a manufacturing environment. #

INDSRG Pay:

Up to $65,000.00 per year
