Type:

full-time About the Position As a member of the RFQ/project core team, she/he is in charge of external supplier relationships for the RFQ/Project scope. Guarantee and coordinate the inclusion of strategic & convergence suppliers defined by the Purchasing Families or regions in the RFQ study phase and then Projects to achieve the best Product/Price compromise and guarantee the technical and industrial capacity of the selected suppliers. Make sure QCD objectives are achieved in compliance with the development schedule. Implement the Group Purchasing Strategy for new Projects. Responsibilities Sourcing/RFQ (Costing) Develop knowledge of market possibilities and ensure interface between development/product/innovation and suppliers Lead Market study to assess market competitiveness Participate in Make versus Buy study during RFQ phase Utilize the Cost Model for cost estimations Identify on the market new opportunities for cost reduction Ensure business stability and safety by developing a panel of potential prospect supplier to have options in case of supplier issue (all main suppliers to have a potential back-up) Lead innovation discussion with supplier and NA team. Push supplier for increased added value in order to increase competitiveness, product diversification and overall customer potential order intake.

RFQ:

Develop knowledge of competitive market cost of main commodities Ensure all RFQ are answered on a timely manner (5 working days) Anticipate upcoming RFQ and needs, know how to cost estimate product before RFQ are launched Participate in Region local RFQ team and lead activities related to RFQ Purchasing Participate in NA SSR and SNC purchasing process

Qualifications Education:

Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, Logistics, or a related field required.

Raw Materials Sourcing:

Minimum of 5 years of direct purchasing experience focusing specifically on raw materials (e.g., plastics, metals, textiles, or chemicals) in a manufacturing environment.

Project Purchasing:

Minimum of 5 years of experience embedded in project core teams, managing purchasing activities from RFQ through product industrialization and mass production.
