Let's talk! Job Summary States Manufacturing is seeking a Purchasing Coordinator. The ideal candidate would have experience in material purchasing, procurement, and data entry within an ERP system. The ability to work in a team environment and provide purchasing support for the organization. This is a full-time, hourly position. Typical working hours will be Monday - Friday with hours ranging from 7:00a.m. to 5:00p.m. based on the candidates preferred working hours. Overtime may be available. Duties and Responsibilities Complete part setup on all new parts, to ensure timely ordering by our purchasing team Assist purchasing team with data entry tasks, including but not limited to Part Master Setup in Epicor (ERP System), Part Price Lists, Purchase Order confirmations, order entry in supplier portals, and other basic purchasing tasks. Escalate issues that cannot be fully resolved with available information Issue purchase orders to vendors Track open vendor purchase orders, contacting vendors when needed. Other duties assigned by leadership or management groups. Required Skills and Experience 2 - 4 years' experience in a production and/or engineering purchasing environment. Experience with Epicor is preferred but not required. Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint. Ability to work in a team environment to accomplish daily tasks. Superior problem solving, detail orientated, and analytical skills. Demonstrated ability to work independently making sound design decisions for multiple weeks at a time.Physical Requirements/Working Environment:
This position requires the ability to sit, and bend or stand for extended periods of time. Light lifting may be required. Performance of duties will be in the office, working at a computer full time. BenefitsPTO/ESST
