Job Description
Ready to put your organization, communication, and problem-solving skills to work in a manufacturing environment? This Buyer/Planner role helps ensure materials arrive on time, inventory stays accurate, and production schedules stay on track. You'll work closely with suppliers and internal teams to support day-to-day operations and keep manufacturing running smoothly. This is a great opportunity for someone with experience in purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, customer service, or administrative support . The ideal candidate will have a basic understanding of procurement and production planning , strong analytical skills, and experience working within ERP/MRP systems (Oracle experience is a plus). Responsibilities Purchase materials, parts, and services for production Create and track purchase orders Monitor inventory levels and help prevent shortages Schedule production work orders and support manufacturing timelines Communicate with suppliers regarding deliveries, pricing, and quality concerns Resolve order, inventory, and invoice discrepancies Update purchasing and planning information within the ERP system Work with production, engineering, customer service, and quality teams Support continuous improvement and cost-saving initiatives Skills & Qualifications Basic understanding of purchasing, inventory, procurement, or production planning Experience working with ERP/MRP systems required (Oracle preferred) Previous manufacturing, inventory, administrative, or supply chain experience preferred Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills Attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Strong communication and teamwork skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel Why You'll Love It Entry-level opportunity with room for growth Mix of office, planning, purchasing, and supply chain responsibilities Collaborative team environment Opportunity to learn purchasing, inventory management, and production planning #1176OS
