Job Description

Job Overview This position works directly with MTM pharmacists, clinic patients, medical and nursing staff to manage complex medication needs. Build and maintain professional relationships with providers, patients, families, insurers and staff. Develop, implement, and maintain processes to ensure the MTM practice is efficient and effective which may include but not limited to ensuring patients are scheduled for follow-up clinic visits and labs, patient outreach to offer MTM services, and ensure that therapies are ordered correctly and started in a timely manner. Responsibilities Partner with care providers and MTM pharmacists to ensure that patients receive the needed medication accurately, safely, in accordance with all legal requirements and policies and in a professional and timely manner. Partner with pharmacists and care team to ensure exceptional care and coordination of medication therapies. Under the direction of the MTM pharmacist, monitor clinic and lab appointments. Coordinate ordering, delivery of medications and supplies to patients. Assist in building the MTM practice with patient outreach. Required Qualifications less than 1 year 6 months of Medical or Pharmacy Technician experience in a pharmacy setting Preferred Qualifications Bachelor's degree in business or healthcare 1 year of pharmacy technician experience working in a Specialty or Hospital environment Billing experience, understanding of the healthcare pharmacy system Registered Technician MNBP Benefit Overview Fairview offers a generous benefit package including but not limited to medical, dental, vision plans, life insurance, short-term and long-term disability insurance, PTO and Sick and Safe Time, tuition reimbursement, retirement, early access to earned wages, and more!
